The Amazing Spider-Man is an upcoming American superhero film based on the comic book of the same name that is currently in post-production. It is the fourth Columbia Pictures film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man and the first film in a rebooted Spider-Man film franchise. The film is being directed by Marc Webb. The cast includes Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors. The film will portray Peter Parker as he is developing his super powers in high school. It is scheduled to be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on July 3, 2012.

i love how only 1 guy has portrayed spiderman on the big screen, and everyone says he cant be replaced. if it were any other actor people would be saying the same thing about that actor. that would be crazy for the producers to find the 1 person out of the 6+ billion people on the earth that can play the character. andrew’s an amazing actor, this series will be much better i think.
Tobey IS spider-man everytime he yelled and all that. It will be un-done if I see this. I’m proably going to but it will for sure ruin everything I fell in love with spider-man the first times.

@HORRORTV1 It is true that he was bitten in the hand i give you that, but lets not forget that in the first movie he was bitten by a genetically modified spider which is completely lame . He was bitten by a radio active spider. I like the newer costume. Both costumes are different from the comics. I did not like the design in the first one the webbing on his suit the black part is more of a pattern. It looks like they used something like plastic for the outline.
@grownuptrunks Let me point out the flaws in this trailer. First off, Peter got bit on his HAND, not his neck. They also fucked up the costume. I liked the Tobey Maguire movies better. Why? No, I’m not a Tobey slave but the action scenes were good and the storyline was good. The costume also stayed completely true to the comics. But what is THIS? Power Rangers bullshit? And no, this movie they aren’t going to crack jokes. Probably even less. This storyline is darker. But it’s my opinion.

@grownuptrunks First of all, this movie they fucked up the costume and the storyline is also darker. I’m sorry but I’m not certain if this Spider-Man is going to be the Spidey we all know and love (he never shuts up in a fight). This movie is just Edward Cullen bullshit. But again, who knows? Maybe my attitude will change when I see it.
